The Synapse Burnout is a 4 track portastudio preamp // fuzz pedal. This is my take on a common DIY circuit! This thing really makes you sound early 90s, Guided by Voices, Duster, etc. Pair this with the Jet Lag and have all the lo-fi racket you'll ever need.
Keep the Gain turned low, and get the overdriven crackle that 4 tracks naturally have, while still reaching well above unity. Turn that Gain up and get an awesome high clarity vintage fuzz. This device is loaded with a classic Baxandall EQ, which lets you control the High end and Low end separately. Use the toggle switch to push more low end, making it more suitable for Bass and Synth. Lastly, you can limit (or push) your output signal with the Volume control.
