Meowler - Automatic Pitch Modulating Device
In collaboration with Frank Baugh, we bring you Meowler
Meowler is an operable and versitile modulation device. This device can go from a light chorus (similar to the Digitech Whammy Detune Mode), all the way to a crazy pitch modulating noise machine and everything in between. Max the speed to create a distinct ring modulator then slam the feedback and get some wild squeals, or turn the mix counter clockwise and create a elegant glitchy vibrato.
Each unit is hand painted with love by Frank Baugh (frankbaugh.net), not one is the same. Quote from Frank about the paintings…
“Abstracted layers of cat coalesce into fractured fields of color and shape. Figural elements are obscured and reinterpreted as raw marks in a sunset dream. Each hand painted plate is designed to embody the textural mix of feline mystique.”
Controls from left to right:
Speed - Controls the rate of the modulation. Turned all the way clockwise is no speed, only the filter of the pedal. This is visualized by the indicator LED.
Wave - Controls the waveform shape. This lets you choose between a light pitch modulation to a wild pitch modulator. This is also visualized by the indicator LED.
Depth - Controls the deepness or shallowness of the modulation.
Mix - Blends the modulated effect into your clean signal
Feedback Footswitch (Momentary)- This creates a feedback loop within the effect. The wave and speed controls effect the modulation of this feedback loop. (Feedback may not work with buffers, move the pedal around your signal chain to find the best spot for it)
*All pedals are made to order, please allow 3-10 days for production*
